If the idea of combining a tour of Northern Spain and the famous ‘Circuit des Remparts’ in Angoulême appeals then this year's European Tour may be the one for you.
Leaving the UK, members will sail into Santander and from here travel along the coast towards Oviedo and the Picos de Europa. The Picos de Europa is noted for its deep gorges and soaring peaks and Oviedo for its beautiful 16th century Cathedral. If possible, a trip on the cable car from Fuente De will be another of the trip's highlights. From here, the plan is to drive through the National Park to Bilbao, with free time to visit the famous ‘Guggenheim’ museum and ‘Puppy’ - created in 1992 by Jeff Koons, this 43’ high sculpture is formed by thousands of flowers, then onto Pamplona home of the ‘San Fermin’ or ‘Running of the Bulls’ which takes place every July.
From here, members will travel towards the French border staying at Canfranc, in the recently renovated Canfranc Hotel. Driving over the border, via the Pyrenees, and into France. We will spend a night just outside of Bordeaux to arrive in Angoulême in time for the Circuit des Remparts. This race meeting is often described as one of the greatest historic motorsport events in France and will be a fitting end to the tour.

The approximate cost is £3,370 per couple for a double room and £2,735 for a single room. Included in the cost is the overnight ferry with an inside 2-berth cabin and a £25 meal voucher per person, accommodation in the best hotels available, mostly 3* and 4* with facilities for a total of 15 nights including breakfast each day and 9 evening meals, some of which include drinks. The cost also includes tickets for the Circuit des Remparts, as well as car parking charges where applicable and city tax, also where applicable.
Rooms are limited and therefore early registration is suggested.

Event registration is £10 per person. Once registered, you will be contacted by the event organising team to confirm accommodation details and updates before the event. Please be aware that places for this event are limited and, as is club policy, secured on a first come first served basis. Once places are filled, we will run a reserve list to offer places should they become available.
