Our popular summer driving adventure this year will take place amongst the rolling countryside of the picturesque South Downs from Saturday, 7 to Saturday, 14 June. Participating Club members will have the opportunity to visit tranquil hamlets and the chalk hills of Hampshire alongside all-important scenic drives along winding roads.

The area is home to famous writers such as Jane Austen and Charles Kingsley, and there are many stately homes, like Petworth House - a magnificent 17th-century house displaying one of the finest art collections in the care of the National Trust, nestled in a 700-acre deer park. Add into this a visit to Brooklands, the original home of British Motorsport and Aviation, and Brighton with its famous Pavillion and ‘The Lanes’, this small area of the country has it all.

More details of this week-long trip will follow in the coming months, including information about reserved accommodation, costs and dinner arrangements for those attending. Due to the popularity of the Club’s Driving Adventures, we strongly advise anyone who wishes to attend to register as soon as possible.

The club charges £10 per person, which covers the administration involved in planning and running the event, which is undertaken by our willing club volunteers.
